Larry Ringgenberg Named Market President for new Dacotah Bank in Morris
Dacotah Bank regional president, Brad Moore, has announced the promotion of Larry Ringgenberg to market president for the Morris and Chokio community regions. Dacotah Bank agreed to purchase United Farmers & Merchants State Bank from Paul and Renee Ersted this summer. The sale was final Friday, September 13.
“Larry has worked closely with local agricultural producers and small business owners throughout his career,” according to Moore. “Not only is this promotion well deserved by Larry, but Dacotah Bank and our new customers in the Morris and Chokio area will benefit as well.”
Ringgenberg is a 1976 graduate of South Dakota State University at Brookings, SD. Larry has been employed at Dacotah Bank for 6 years as a senior agricultural banker in Brookings and he has 35 years of experience in all aspects of lending and management.
“I’m looking forward to the opportunity to work next to the wonderful employees Paul and Renee have in Morris and Chokio and along-side their customers,” Larry said. “The histories of our two organizations are similar and the transition and ongoing relationships with current and new customers will hopefully be seamless.”
Dacotah Bank will bring a number of new services to UF&MSB clients including mobile banking, access to thousands of free ATMs worldwide, online deposits services, credit cards for consumers and businesses, and increased lending limits for local agricultural producers among others.
Larry and his wife Wendy will make their home in Morris. Larry’s office is located at Dacotah Bank, 4 Atlantic Avenue, in Morris. He can be reached at (320) 589-3361 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org. More information about Dacotah Bank is available at dacotahbank.com.
