Mobridge, S.D. - Darrell Schlepp has announced his retirement as market president at Dacotah Bank in Mobridge. Chad Jager, agricultural banker will be promoted to the market president position. Chad will assume the role of market president in September 2020.
Schlepp started his banking career joining the Citizens Bank Mobridge on July 1st, 1977, with all 43 years of his banking career serving the Mobridge market. Darrell began as an officer trainee and worked in the retail, operations, insurance and lending areas of the bank. Darrell became market president in 1996. Darrell and his wife Michelle will continue to reside in Mobridge.
Darrell currently serves as a Director of the Mobridge Economic Development Corporation, President of the Mobridge Rodeo Foundation Inc., Director of the Mobridge 3B Committee, member of the Mobridge Rotary Club as well as numerous other committees and organizations throughout the years.
Incoming market president Chad Jager is a Sioux Falls area native. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business from the University of South Dakota. He is currently attending Graduate School of Banking in Madison, WI. Jager’s banking career started in Sioux Falls in 2010, moved to the Watertown branch for 2 years, the Clark branch for 4 years and made the transition to Mobridge in 2018 as an agricultural banker.
Chad and his wife Jorgan, have a son and daughter. He currently serves on the SDBA Ag Credit Committee and is a SDBA Emerging Leader.
