Dacotah Bank Promotes VanOtterloo to Sioux Falls Market President

Dacotah Bank - (Sioux Falls, SD) We are proud to announce the promotion of Galen VanOtterloo to Market President. Galen began his banking career with U.S. Bank in 2004 before joining Dacotah Bank in 2016 as a Business Banker. He was promoted to Market Vice President last fall and now steps into the role of Market President for Sioux Falls, SD.

Galen is a graduate of Dordt University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. He has completed both the U.S. Bank Leadership Development Program and Dacotah Bank’s Academy leadership program.

Highly engaged in the community, Galen serves as a Local Advisory Board member for the Veteran's Community Project and is on the Sioux Falls Champions Board for Junior Achievement. He is also a past board member of the Dakota Alliance Soccer Club. Outside of work, Galen enjoys spending time with his wife and their two children.
